SPECIAL HELP needed for small businesses such as ours:
The economy is affecting everyone. Who will weather this storm is
yet unknown. We have given to many shelters, many non-profit events,
many rescue groups. Now, in order for our business to
survive, we must ask you to help us. I am sure that the big box stores will survive, but with every little company that
loses its ability to offer you higher quality and unique products, you will get stuck
choosing from products chosen for you by the big box stores. The large corporate pet food products are stored in large
warehouses and have chemical preservatives added to prolong shelf life. They also contain questionable ingredients not appropriately labeled.
Laws were passed allowing misrepresentation of critical facts about many large pet food industry's products.
With respect
to the presentation of commercials placed on the 30,000 training videos that went to 1500 shelters,
most of the little companies, such as MOON Munch, got buried and never appeared within the training portion of the video
as we were led to believe by the Discovery Channel representatives who enticed us to contribute for the good of the shelters
while promoting our healthy and innovative pet products. Two major corporations locked in their product placement and endorsements
while locking out others throughout the minimized training of the dogs. The supposed true
purpose of the video: to train dogs - did not happen. Instead, the "training" turned out to be a long-winded commercial for two very large
pet food companies.
Since the dog
training was minimal, all of the small companies, including MOON Munch, unknowingly funded the very long commercial
for the two large corporations - and, unfortunately the adoptees did not get good instruction on
handling their newly
adopted dogs.
So, the result was that no product placement occurred for MOON Munch and the commercial you see on this site and on YouTube.com
was never seen by the 30,000 pet rescue adoptees - even though we paid a very good price to help educate people about
training their newly adopted dogs and of course to present to them our supplemental nutritional treats (as promised with
product placement and a short request for them to view more about the product - but this NEVER happened).
So many other small companies got the same treatment. They collected our money to help promote the very
large pet industry's corporations. What a huge disappointment it was indeed.
If you are able, can you please purchase just a small item, or even a Marsh and Mellow Drama
poem/story/essay at a price of your choosing. Please ask at least two other people, close to you who also value their
freedom to choose, to please support our company by either purchasing a small product, or to contribute/purchase at a level
of their choosing in return for a Marsh and Mellow Drama poem/essay/story delivered in an e-mail.
